Khaosok–Cheow Lan Lake Day Trip
Itinerary
- 06:00 AMPick-up from your accommodation.
- 08:00 AMArrive at Ratchaprapha Dam Pier, Cheow Lan Lake.
- 08:30 AMDepart by longtail boat for a scenic journey across Cheow Lan Lake, surrounded by dramatic limestone formations.
- 11:20 AMArrive at the floating restaurant. Enjoy free time for swimming, kayaking, sunbathing, or relaxing in the natural surroundings.
- 12:00 PMLunch box provided.
- 01:30 PMTravel by longtail boat to the trekking starting point.
- 02:15 PMBegin the approximately 1.8 km jungle trek to Coral Cave.
- 02:40 PMExplore the lagoon for approximately 30–45 minutes, followed by a bamboo raft journey of around 10 minutes to Coral Cave.
- 03:00 PMExplore Coral Cave, a beautiful dry cave featuring remarkable stalactite and stalagmite formations.
- 04:00 PMFinish the cave visit. Return by bamboo raft to the lagoon, then trek back to the longtail boat pick-up point, approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- 05:00 PMBegin the return journey to your accommodation.
- 06:00 PMArrive back at your accommodation.

Coral Cave Experience
Coral Cave is a nature-based adventure designed for travellers seeking a combination of light-to-moderate trekking, bamboo rafting and cave exploration. The experience includes an approximately 1.8-kilometre jungle trek, time to explore a scenic lagoon, and a bamboo raft journey to a striking dry cave with distinctive stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Guests will also have time to relax, swim, kayak, or enjoy the exceptional limestone landscape of Cheow Lan Lake. This programme is suitable for families and children with an appropriate level of fitness.
Important Information
The itinerary may be adjusted due to weather conditions, water levels, or operational requirements.
A stop at 7-Eleven will be made en route to the lake. Guests are advised to withdraw cash and purchase personal essentials such as medication, mosquito repellent, snacks, or sunscreen at this time.
National park entrance fees are included. Standard reference fees: Lake pier checkpoint — 300 THB/adult, 150 THB/child under 14; Coral Cave trekking checkpoint — 200 THB/adult, 100 THB/child under 14.
